My sister had previously used image-i-nation photography for a lifestyle shoot with her young daughter. The photos were really beautiful and captured both their personalities as well as some lovely aesthetic images. After seeing her photos we decided we definitely wanted to use them for our wedding.
Before the wedding itself we did a pre-shoot at a local reservoir. Admittedly, being naturally a bit self-conscious, I was apprehensive about having our photo taken in a very public place like that. I need not have worried. Straight away Kev put us at ease with a few jokes and I was really surprised at how my worries completely melted away. I felt like we'd already known him years. We'd never had any professional pictures taken before so had no idea if we had to 'pose' or whatever but Kev has an innate ability to know what will make a great picture and gives clear direction. The result was some of the best pictures I've ever seen of myself and I felt proud showing them to pretty much everyone who would look!
The wedding itself came around and I was a big bag of nerves. Kev arrived in the morning and I instantly relaxed with a bit of banter with him. There was a load of stuff to do on the morning of the wedding and a lot of rushing around but Kev stayed in the background quietly going about his job - I hardly noticed he was there but he fitted in just like one of the wedding party.
I was amazed actually at some of the gorgeous photos he managed to get when I was so busy - just some really natural shots. Some of the best photos are spontaneous and not posed. The rest of the day he had as much fun as we did and just has a great eye for moments that are so easily missed at a wedding when it can be quite hectic - these are the photos you will treasure. This isn't just a job for him - you can really tell he absolutely loves doing this and it makes a huge difference. Some advice I would give to brides-to-be, and talking from experience; DO NOT scrimp on your photos, to be honest, the day will go past in such a blur you will hardly remember any of it. Not trying to scare you but seriously, the photos are the things that will truly last forever and you want an absolutely gorgeous record of your day. I am not trying to be gushing, I try to be as honest as possible with these things as I'd like an honest review if I was planning a wedding too.
There is nothing that disappointed me about Kev, he is the absolute best at what he does and I feel so lucky to have found him and totally privileged that he photographed our wedding.
Kev is a true professional and you feel instantly relaxed in his company (always good for those 'natural' shots we all love). He quite clearly loves his job which shows in the photos. He suggested that we did some shots outside of the venue which turned out to be some of the most beautiful. A creative genius, he is highly recommended x x
Kev explained everything and answered all our queries, he gave us pre wedding shoot to overcome our nerves and make us feel at ease in front of the camera.
On the actual wedding day whenever there anything going on Kev was there with the camera and didn’t miss a trick.
He was great with the guests and always had them laughing. I have been to weddings where the photos seemed to have gone on for a lifetime, this was not the case with Kev.
He made sure we had all our family shots promptly and made the whole experience fun before taking us off for the more romantic shots, we had so many fantastic pictures to choose from but we felt we were hardly away from our guests.
Our wedding album itself is absolutely amazing we could not have asked for anything better and we love it. We expected to have to wait several months for our album as was told by friends that it was usual procedure, Kev must have worked through the night as we received our album within a few weeks of selecting our photos.
We cannot recommend Image- I- nation more and will definitely be using them for our future milestones!! Mr and Mrs Brady

I feel like we should be calling Kev 'Our Kev' ha that’s how well I feel we have been able to get to know him.
From even before 'THE BEGININNING' of our wedding journey, from the first phone call with Kev I knew he would be our wedding photographer, he put me at ease instantly just by one phone call, Then we met him the next day and his personality wasnt the only thing that impressed us, it was his beautiful albums he brought for us to see! Its fair to say that the decision was pretty easy once we had met him.
But he didn’t show up at our wedding, take some snaps and then we got an album DONE no no no it was so much more personal than that, He allowed me to sit with him and design our album together, his wife MRS IMAGE-I-NATION is lovely and makes wicked brew haha.As you will come to see you wedding day is sooo busy and I text Kev a few days after the wedding saying how disappointed I was that me and my husband didn’t get to go off together and have a photo shoot because everyone wanted a piece of us that day and there just wasn’t time, The message I got back in a flash from Kev was ‘Re hire Gavins suit, get ya dress back on and we will do it’ He give me and Gavin a 2nd chance in a flash and he took us both out and was with us all night taking us to different destinations taking snaps.
Do you know which other person would do that with no extra pay??? Kev will never know how much that meant to me and Gavin!Everything about it is what my husband and I wanted EVERYTHING! Every idea I had he did but put the professional touch onto it. Im just waiting for our album to come back now and if I’m been absolutely honest I will be a tad sad when the whole journey is over.I would strongly advise anyone to choose Kev you truly will never look back.
Kev is an amazing photographer. He was the first photographer we met and we knew instantly that we would be using him for our wedding day. He is friendly, welcoming and puts you completely at ease from the word go. We have known Kev for just over 2 years and have kept in touch with him over that time.
We used him for a family location photoshoot as we just couldn't wait until our wedding! We loved our pre-wedding shoot, it was such a laugh (even when it was raining!). Our little boy thinks he is ace! Thanks to Kev he is obsessed with taking pictures!On our wedding day he went above and beyond to ensure that we got amazing photographs. I hardly noticed he was there in the morning as he was so discreet! He put me completely at ease even at the last minute when I was stressed! Everyone commmented on how friendly, funny and approachable he was. Even our hotel staff said they thought he was the best photographer they had seen at their hotel.Kev and his lovely wife Chris trialed their new photobooth at our wedding. It was a huge success!
We keep receiving phonecalls and txts from our friends commenting on how fab it was! We were thrilled to be able to see a selection of photos from our special day the day after....that's Kev all over, 150% committed to the job!I seriously couldn't think of anyone better to capture your special day. Kevin was both professional and personal and went out of his way to make us both feel relaxed. It was a second marriage for both of us and we did not want formal photographs, we just wanted the day to be fun and Kevin certainly captured the laughter and joy throughout!
